The halls boasted boys and girls alike. They were sporadically placed and not usually with the opposite gender as they walked, some giggling, some serious, some upset. Whatever their emotion, it wasn't alarm which was all that mattered to Revelyn as he weaved his way through them. None seemed to care too much. He got one or two looks from a couple boys, and even fewer looks from girls, but no greeting from either gender. That's how he wanted it, at the moment anyway. You couldn't be sneaky and social at the same time, and he still wasn't clear on the rules so being sneaky was essential. The only thing he knew was that some boy told him he'd be able to get into the auditorium at lunch and when classes were over. He opted for when classes were over since it'd been at lunch that day that the kid gave him the valuable information.
Realistically, he knew it was a bit foolish. He could just say he didn't know he wasn't to be in there. He could say, 'it was unlocked', or even, 'I saw someone come out, I thought it was open for practicing.'. If they didn't believe him, what was the worse they could do? Slap his wrists? Scold him? Send him home? With Revelyn, none of those options did much good. No, they'd have to be clever to get through to him.
A smile tugged at Revelyn's lips as he carefully pushed open the auditorium doors. They were unlocked, just as he'd been told, so now he just had to hope there wasn't a scheduled rehearsal or a teacher planning on spending their day in here anytime soon. Deciding he'd cross that bridge when it came, Revelyn promptly slipped in through the partially opened door before walking down the aisle between the rows of seats. It was quite a rush, being in here. Someday, someday even soon, he'd be up there showing people what he was capable of. He'd be up there, acting to his heart's content, bringing smiles and laughter and tears to others. It was a magical dream, really. Inspiring to everything he did- Revelyn was sure he'd make the dream a reality.
Until then, he'd imagine himself up on that stage. Revelyn hadn't made it more than a few feet before he had stopped, his hand resting on the back of a random seat, his gaze fixed on the stage. Thoughts of himself playing a part in A Midsummer Night's Dream happened to be the subject of his current daydream.
